Welcome to Morinesio, an alpine village at 1,500 meters above sea level, in the municipality of Stroppo (Cuneo), overlooking the spectacular peaks of the Alpi Cozie. The typical stone and wood houses have been carefully renovated, preserving the authentic soul of the place.

Our farmhouse
Alpes d'OC Morinesio is a farmhouse immersed in the nature of the Maira Valley, where the flavours of the Occitan and Provençal Alps coexist in harmony with the authenticity of the environment and the richness of local traditions. Here, unspoilt nature is the real star, accompanied by a culture rooted in the territory: Alpine architecture, a minority language, ancient frescoes and mountain customs tell the story of the civilisation of the Cottian Alps. Among the wonders of the upper Maira Valley, the farmhouse was created with the aim of sharing these beauties with its guests: harmony, silence and authenticity are values to be enjoyed today and preserved for future generations.

Alpes d'OC Morinesio is synonymous with an authentic experience in nature: a refuge nestled in the Maira Valley, unspoilt and free from large infrastructure. Among woods, scenic trails and wildlife, every season offers different emotions. In summer, spring and autumn, you can go on excursions in the lower, middle and upper valleys, on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback, along routes of varying difficulty. Winter and early spring are ideal for activities such as snowshoeing, ski touring, downhill skiing and cross-country skiing. There is no light pollution here: at night, you can go outside and simply gaze at the stars in rare and precious silence.

In Morinesio, in the heart of the Maira Valley, Alpes d'OC grows blackcurrants and other small mountain fruits in a natural and sustainable way.
From this precious fruit, rich in antioxidant properties, we produce:
- An intense and fragrant blackcurrant juice
- An extra fruit compote, sweet but balanced
- An aromatic and enveloping artisanal blackcurrant liqueur
Each product is made on our farm, in small quantities and using traditional methods: no preservatives, with fruit picked by hand and carefully processed.
From the fibre of alpacas raised in Morinesio, we also make handmade scarves, hats and pillows in hypoallergenic, warm alpaca wool, ideal for those who love authenticity.

Alpes d'OC Morinesio offers its guests independent rooms and apartments in an authentic alpine setting, ideal for those who want a relaxing holiday in the Maira Valley.
Our 60, 50 and 30 square metre apartments are tastefully furnished and equipped with:

- Fully equipped kitchen/living room
- Double bedroom
- Large panoramic balcony
- Storage room and private green space
The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and balconies with views of the Piedmont mountains.
Each unit is equipped with independent heating, hot water, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
